Being a policeman is one of the most demanding jobs all over the world, but when it comes to Dubai Police Department and especially their ‘Super Cop Squad’, it probably has become one of the best jobs in the world. You probably would ask, why? Is it so? Well, yes! It is. When you are in Dubai Police, you’ll get to drive cop cars with mighty powerful engines and use ultra hi-tech gadgets.
The Dubai Police Department is world’s first to include supercars like Bugatti Veyron, McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Aventador, Modified Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, Aston Martin One-77, Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari FF and so many others, in their ‘Super Squad’ to prevent crime. And now they have the Koenigsegg One:1 in their fleet. Pretty impressive. Well, that’s not all, you would be amazed to know that Dubai Police is using Google Glass to identify possible threats and outlaws.
One:1 is the brand new supercar from the Koenigsegg and has become one of the fastest production cars in the world, no wonder why Dubai Police Department has chosen it. Believe you me; it does look wonderful in Dubai police green and white livery. To power this mighty mean machine, a 5.0 litre V8 aluminium engine is used which produces 1,341 hp and a torque of 1,011 lb-ft. Even though it weighs 1,341 kg, it still manages to reach a top speed of 450 km/h.
It is hoped that the Koenigsegg One:1 will soon break the current top speed record made earlier by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
